TopHat were thrilled to welcome Kevin McCloud and the Grand Designs team to its advanced manufacturing facility in Foston, Derbyshire. Kevin and the Grand Designs team were filming a piece on the mechanisation of housing and the use of volumetric modular solutions to build new homes at scale as part of a show that involved the delivery of a bespoke volumetric modular house.
During the broadcast Kevin said:
“Here, it’s clean and perfect, and in terms of the engineering of what’s going on here – so fantasically accurate.”
