As a Team Leader for TopHat you will assist in the manufacture of a variety of modular, timber framed house types.

The Team Leader’s main responsibilities will include:

  1. To work as a Team Leader on the manufacturing lines to assist with the production of timber framed homes
  2. Responsible to provide instruction and guidance to operators, ensuring smooth production flow
  3. Planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing / production processes in production cells
  4. Provide leadership, guidance, development and training needs where necessary
  5. Continually monitor and measure team performance through KPI’s and internal audits
  6. To work with Cell Managers and Process Engineers to identify and mitigate risk
  7. Delegate tasks, set deadlines and performance managing
  8. Provide communication between the team, engineering department and office
  9. To assist in continuously improving performance in the areas of output, cost quality and service whilst maintaining a safe working environment

Functional Skills and Experiences

  1. Manufacturing experience
  2. Previous line management experience
  3. ILM qualification desirable
